did Frida have a terrible accident when she was younger? her knees have big scars I've noticed...is there a story behind that?

that is odd. i looked at the hq, and it looks like she either fell on something long, skinny, and sharp, like a rod of metal or something, or got hit with something long skinny and sharp. either that or she had an identical surgery performed on both knees but the picture isn't clear enough to see if it's a typical surgery type scar.
