Fruit Salad S/S 05

lol.
i just bought a banana bag.

it's so small and really impractical, but i needed to have it.
i like fruit accessories. i also have the strawberry/heart earrings lv did, i think they're cute, though definately a bit juvenile (but i'm still relatively young! so it's okay), but they weren't hugely expensive, so it's okay.
i love the dior stuff, naturally.
not so sure of the all around fruit prints though...i'm usually interested if the print isn't huge and overpowering

This reminds me of the edible wallpaper from the Charlie & the Chocolate Factory movie. Neat.

^ Do you want people to comment.... or?

I'm just joking that I was ahead of the trend, that's all ;) I have an uncanny knack for doing that.

There was actually a Junya Watanabe knit t-shirt with a pineapple on it on ebay last week. It went dirt cheap so I kicked myself for not making a bid...

Funnily enough, that's the one I have. Although I didn't get it for dirt cheap and I don't wear it very much. I do kind of like it though.

The cherry bags from Vuitton are dreadful, gawsh  I did like the Luella s/s 05 collection, esp this grey 'schoolboy' blazer with applepattern and the applebag is cute too.

I really need one of those banana purses, I neeeed it  Who doesn't want to have a banana at hand all day.

i like this trend in moderation those apple prints are so delish:heart: i actually have an apple belt from years ago think i might have to dig it out no idea why i stoppped wearing it:huh:

Orla keily was the queen of this trend imo, it's cute though, i have a cherry print necktie that I made outta some cute fabric, and a cherry print general school bag, from the antoni & alison at debenhams range. I love that chinese style dress you've made though AYLI, it'd look so cute with jeans or crops

love fruit i have so many strappy racer backs with cheeries and strawberrys and fruits on etc. I love those crochet hats by dior posted by artemis

imho those last two miu miu's posted by morgan are the best 'examples' of the fruity trend ;)

I agree Lena, they are both so cute...But I like the Luella stuff too though...

the luela fruits even though they are cute, they look like an advertisement of apple mac to me (..i know its weird, couldnt wear them though) :D

I did like some of the Luella stuff as well. But this trend can easily be tacky and childish.
