Gemma was a good actress, but by choosing glamour modelling instead, she seems to have thought there was no future for her in acting.
I wouldn't blame anyone for looking at the careers of topless models and wanting some of the money they make, so in that regard, buying those breasts was a good investment, but she was far prettier beforehand, she didn't need the surgery, as an actress.
And now other people will be looking at her, and thinking, maybe that's the career path for me, because she's doing OK for herself. It's a bizarre concept to me, making a career out of breasts that aren't your own body, when you could work at the craft of acting. But if there's more money to be made from the former, it might be the smarter choice.
