I think the relationship between acting and modelling is very interesting. Both require certain amount of emotion. It's just one's acting tells a story throughout a film while a model tells a story in a couple of pages. One could say that it's harder to set a tone in one picture than it is throughout a movie but it could also be argued that it is harder to sustain a performance throughout an entire full length film than it is in pictures. Anyway. I just felt like typing because I always found that relationship between modelling and acting very interesting

it seems cool... having her face covered up during almost of all the film, and then having it ripped off or something... a face like hers would be very dramatic to see in that scenario

totally agree... on the one hand she is gorgeous and the other...it makes me uncomfortable looking at her for too long and I have to look away.

its good she still wants to do acting, as she wanted to be (and was in one film) an actress long before she ever modelled.

I don't know, I think turning to acting after modeling can potentially go either way, it could be terrible, but sometimes it might work. Saffron Burrows, Uma Thurman, Abbie Cornish (briefly) all modeled before they began acting, for example, but they're good actresses

I agree Since Gemma is positively wonderful at conveying emotions through photographs, I think there's a good chance that she'll be able to translate that on screen

hopefully she won't be talking. like gisele in taxi. if all they have to do is march around and make faces, they can do that, that's thier job. but if there's dialogue, then i wonj't hold my breath.

on the other hand, gemma is really beautiful in a non traditional, non hollywood way, so no matter what, i'll be glad to have her in a film ,just for aesthetics. and liv tylers awesome. and curvy. nice juxtaposition of womanly body and stick thin beauty, i think.
