Thank you so much Boomer. those are some of the most stunning pictures of Gene I've ever seen.

I already know from experience that she is even more beautiful in motion but can you believe that she was far more stunning in person than she was in movies, as her ex-husband Oleg Cassini kept saying about her.
I mean, how do you take that much beauty?

^ I know- I would make a fool of myself just staring at her!!

It's funny that alot of models and actress that people considered so beautiful and stunning...I don't because I often think they aren't as beautiful as Gene Tierney...:lol:She is the true defintion of Stunning.. Their are alot of pretty and attractive people in this world..but only few that are gorgeous...Gene is one of them...Oleg said she was a genetic marvel...her face a masterpiece...

I agree with you about the fact that only a few persons are gorgeous while many are extremely pretty or beautiful.
To me one of the proof that her beauty was special is that it's still there on her latest pictures. She aged quite well considering the fact that she's been through a lot of hard things in her life. Medicines and all sorts of treatments of course damaged her beauty but even when I see pictures of her very old I still can see it. The face is used and doesn't have the appeal of youth but it's still outstanding. Well at least that's how I feel but maybe I'm just totally biased

Even in old age, her eyes were still brighter and amazing. I think all the years of smoking don't help her either

I didn't know this cover !!! what a surprise.
Thanks for all those pics here.

I can't imagine a magazine dedicating a few pages to an relatively unknown girl nowadays.

I love the pic of her as ballet dancer.

Yes- how beautiful! That's from 'Never Let Me Go' with Clark Gable- she spent a good part of the movie in a tutu!! :woot: Was she actually a dancer or did they use a double for the ballet scenes...?

How true! That was right after the world became obsessed over Uber-Debutante Brenda Frasier; during the Depression and before World War II, America seemed to be constantly talking about beautiful young debs...^_^

I didn't know about that, thanks for the explanations.
