As I haven't found a thread on them I thought I'd start one! (and besides I'm getting sick of reading that I "have not posted in quite some time" )

Are they only big in Europe? (Germany and Austria AFAIK) ...or have others heard of that brand too?

So many people are sporting them here and I must admit that I love them!

oh no....I'm not "Nicole". ;-)
I just bought a new bag yesterday (the l'ate colette) so I remembered that I've never seen a thread about them here.

they are quite cool, but unfortunately very poor quality. the zip usually doenst "last" longer than some months, then it sort of "rips off". gg&l offer you a new bag then.. but as for me, i will never buy a gg&l bag again. bugger. had my mr. postman for 3 years now; dont want to return it because i love it so much, esp the colour.
anyway, they are becoming "too popular" in germany anyway. streets are full of those bags. but like i said - u pay a lot and get poor quality.
dont like the new collection either.

hmmmm....good to know. I've had a rather small one for 2 years now and nothing like that has happened. But I don't use it often anyways. I wanted a bigger one but everyone around me was getting one too and so I felt toting such a big logo around would be a little tacky. The one I have now doesn't have a big logo....it doesn't even contrast the colour of the bag.

Where would I have to ask for a new one if this happens? The place where I bought it gave me a bill but not a guarantee or anything.

I used to have a "Little Sushi", bought it 2 years ago and I wore it a lot for 1 year. Then I didn't like it any more, it was just lying around in my closet. When I saw that the reach good prices on ebay Germany and sold it for the same price I had bought it at .

Mine lasted very well, what I didn't like was the zippers, they are somehow very sharp and scratchy.

Now the craze is too big in Germany, I would def. not buy one again since I am here now most of the time.

they are becoming the new Longchamp Pliage (which were the new Ralph Lauren Totes...) in Vienna, at our university to be more specific. I was just wondering about the brand and found this thread... anyway, I'd go for a longer lasting bag, leather would be nicer
