I got pretty hooked up on his music early this year and I'm wondering is anyone else loves him too?

I think his lyrics can be rather weird at times (whenever I've translated them) but maybe it's a good thing they can go unnoticed for me since my French hearing skills are nearly non-existent.
.. heard he's a huge influence in the francophone world. a friend from quebec and another one from Paris both grew up listening to him and seemed so proud when I told them I was into him.. which wasn't very hard.. his music just goes beyond language barriers, it's so pure in such a timeless way.
