Diesel Traffic Island
​

Living in constant contact with the world means that there’s hardly any chance to escape it. But sometimes you just need to smash your phone, burn your laptop and dance naked in the rain. Which is why Dazed and Diesel decided to give eight brave pioneers the chance to flee the daily grind, set up home on a traffic island and be free of any rules and authorities. Armed with unique tools (a tent & Bunsen burner) and some life experiences, the group set about taking life on the island head on. On their oasis within a sea of abandoned motorways, the creative community survived on a diet of roasted marshmallows, extra curricular activities and free spirit.
