Georgia Frost

Ice maiden Frost - the 17-year-old model leading the cool Britannia pack
{From Dailymail.co.uk}

Browsing through the stalls at a market, Georgia Frost was hoping to take home a few knick-knacks.
But the teenager picked up more than she bargained for - a lucrative career as a model which has just seen her named as the most influential young British star of our time.
In the same way Kate Moss's feisty look set her head and shoulders above other models in the 1990s, 17-year-old Miss Frost has been deemed a "mould-breaker" with top designers flocking to sign her up.
The teenager has already modelled alongside Miss Moss for Burberry as well as posing for Alberta Ferretti, Dolce and Gabanna and Anna Molinari.
Now Harper's Bazaar magazine has put her at the helm of a list of cutting-edge actors, politicians and entrepreneurs setting the trend for a new wave of cool Britannia.
She was first spotted while shopping in Camden market at the age of 13 but talent scout Sarah Leon, of Select model agency, decided she was too young.
Two years later she was seen again at the Clothes Show Live exhibition. Then aged 15, she decided to wait until she had completed her GCSEs last summer before agreeing to join the agency as a full-time model.
And in the past year alone - having swapped her brown locks for a peroxide look - she has already enjoyed a meteoric rise as "one of Britain's most sought-after models," completing ad campaigns with the likes of Mario Testino, Karl Lagerfeld and Vivienne Westwood.
Vogue has dubbed her a "modern-day Joan of Arc" and the "model-of-the-moment" while Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey said: "Georgia is a great example of one of the new cool British girls of the moment in terms of look, attitude and spirit."
Buckinghamshire-born Miss Frost said: "I am overwhelmed that I get paid to dress up in fantastic clothes, travel the world and meet interesting people. "It is the job I have dreamed of doing since I was a young girl."

I saw the Harper's Bazaar cover in store and it's honestly doesn't look that bad, not particularly nice but not horrific either.

Like the Harper's Bazaar cover or not, it's a huge step forward in her career. We can only hope it'll lead to numerous runway shows this upcoming season, along with plenty of future editorials and covers. ;)

I really like the 5th pic in the ed:heart: The others aren't bad, but those are not so exciting.
Thanks for scanning glósóli!:flower:

and I really do hope she gets more runway shows this season. I like the Daily Mail article too - thanks for posting it DS
