Getting my nose pierced

I've been thinking for a while of getting my nose pierce. I'd like to add a really thin silver "ring".... Does that leave scars forever...?

if it will, I don't think the scar is going to be that big. if I'd pierce my nose, I'd get an indian style gold ring.. or punk style chain from nose to ear

The hole closes up after a while, if you don't wear a ring, just like an ear-piercing from what I've heard.

My friend had a nose piercing and she doesn't have any scars.

I have my nose pierced. I haven't taken it out in over 2 years so I don't know about scars for myself. My friend had hers done and it got infected. She actually has a tiny little scar. It isn't noticeable however.

On some people it will leave a scar (resemble an old infected zit concavity(?) ).. so that's something to consider...I wouldn't do it..but that's just my personal opinion.

Me personally, nose rings look bad on some people, I could never get one, and most of the people I know down here, they all look like they have a dirty nose, a stain or something... or a bull of they have a ring


My boyfriend has his nose scarred from the tiniest nose ring he had four years ago... it's not horrible, but it just looks like a blackhead...

i've heard that vitamin e works wonders after you take your piercings out. (break open a capsule and put it on the hole..)
i haven't tried it yet, i'm still very attatched to my lip ring...i actually did use vitamin e after i got it done, to help it heal, and it did do nicely.

my sister's had her nose done (both sides, at seperate time..one i think she got done twice, all of which got rejected..), and she doesn't have scars, or if she does, they're not noticable at all...
but it's different for everyone...

i keep a very very very small stud in mine.

When i take it out.. there is a hole.. it looks like a pore.. but a bit larger... it has left a scar on most people I know... but only that tiny hole.

I don't even see the point to having a piercing if you can barely tell it's there at all. DO you always wear that one, or do you ever wear one a little bit bigger? Mine just seems to stand out more...maybe I just have a smaller nose. I like wearing my hoop too B)

Some people have jobs where you cannot have facial piercings. I'm lucky I get away with this one. Plus, I don't like the look of a huge hoop hanging off of my nostril. I prefer studs. It's a personal choice...

I have my nose pierced, when i take it out there is a tiny hole, i just wear a little diamonte stud in mine now, but i used to wear a ring, i don't like how it looks with a ring on me anymore.

I had a monroe, but i took it out, and there is just a tiny tiny scar, my monroe was pierced at 1.6 mm but a nose piercing is more likely to be pierced at 1.2mm so if you do decide to remove it the scar (if you even get one) should be quite minor, not everyone gets left with scars, i know people without them.

Some people are alergic to the metel of the stud and end uo with a black hole hich just looks like a realy gross oversized blackhead so id pick the metal carfully.
