My boyfriends got his septum pierced, i used to hate it, but i'm warming to it a little more now though

it will scar, but its highly unlikely that it will ever be noticable. notsril piercings are done at 16-18g which is really small. (unless you want bigger of course)

i got my nose piercd for my 14th bithday ( long time ago.... ) i dont have it anymore...and yes i do have a scar. i think it just is based on the sensitivty of your skin. i scar easily..so..

i wore a hoop...and when it was pierced, it bled its done with hollow needle.my navel is still pierced, too...im too lazy to take it out.

I just got mine 2 weeks ago and I like it a lot...It looks so cute and just a lil hole so i dont think it will leave a scar for me

Some people are alergic to the metel of the stud and end uo with a black hole hich just looks like a realy gross oversized blackhead so id pick the metal carfully.

That only happens when you get pierced with silver; the metal will oxidize into your skin and tattoo it black/blue. Get pierced with stainless steel and stick to that or gold for the first two years...just in case

I've actually changed my mind a thousand times since starting this thread.......

I ended up deciding to get my septum done... with a captive bead ring... I keep on having to postpone my piercing date though, because they don't have the jewelry I need...

Agree. I think women with very exotic features can pull it off....but many of the girls at my college who have them just don't have the 'right' face for it and they end up looking

Plus, I think the studs sometimes look like really large, icky zits

do you mean nose bones? they're just a stud with two balls on each end? or like.. an actual bone?

why go through all that when you can get a small ring and just clip it on. it's better than get it pierced and having it blown off together with snots when you sneeze.

I've been thinking for a while of getting my nose pierce. I'd like to add a really thin silver "ring".... Does that leave scars forever...?

I removed my nose ring about a month ago... Yes, It will leave a scar... it looks like an enlarged pore.

Getting used to blowing your nose or drying off your face with a terrycloth towel was the worst part... haha
