I obviously cannot say for certain why she chose to do so. However, New York Model Management does not have a strong market share or dominance at this moment, so at least at IMG she stands the chance of being better represented. Basically its all for the advancement of her career. That's what I'm thinking, which is of course just a guess at best.

I think Giedre is still with New York Model Management and is just with IMG in Paris
