I understand the powers that be in the fashion world are banking on Gigi's popularity, but her management, imh and non-expert opinion, is making a mistake in letting her do these major covers as a "celebrity" with interviews attached, instead of as a model. That said, the Vogue editorial is lovely.

Have you watched the pre VSFS live? Gigi seemed really uncomfortable especially when they were doing the quizz thing. She couldn't stay up, it was really weird. I don't know if she was tired or nervous about the show. I give her some credit though, the whole thing was boring and useless. Commenters are saying that it was disrespectful but I don't think it was.

She's gonna last long in this industry if she keeps doing all these PR relationships...

Her star is just gonna keep on rising and rising. Imagine she gets the cover of SI Swimsuit, as well? I know that's not a prestigious event in the high fashion world, but when coupled with the right model it can still turn a girl into a star (or launch her into the stratosphere) -- think Kate Upton. Gigi already gets a lot of press, if she landed SI cover, it would be HUGE for them and for her.

I can't see her being contracted with VS. They aren't handing out the kind of $$$ for contracts that she'd require at this point. They can't get Gigi Hadid for the same price they're paying Stella or Rachel, for example.

I like her a lot and i think her look fits VS perfectly, but seeing her on the show yesterday, she was a mess. Her walk is not that bad, but her posing at the end of the runway was like ''gurrrrl...''
One of the main reasons she got booked for the show, is clearly bc of her social media power, and they are not even hiding like, they even showed the likes her casting video got.
