Gigi Hadid

Saw her in Nolita and was deeply unimpressed. She was wearing this ridiculous getup, kind of like a cashmere cut-off jumpsuit paired with what I can only call desperate-housewives boots. Take away her over-the-top clothing and you wouldn't even notice her walking down the street.

GIGI HADID TO TEST HER CULINARY SKILLS ON 'MASTERCHEF'

So we know the Gigi Hadid has the catwalk on lock, but how's her handle on the kitchen arena? The model is set to appear on the special "Celebrity Showdown" episode of Gordon Ramsay's cooking reality show MasterChef, airing on FOX on Monday, January 18. Hadid will face off against fellow model Devon Windsor as they battle it out to raise $25,000 for their respective charities: Global Lyme Disease Alliance (Hadid's siblings Bella and Anwar and mother Yolanda Foster all suffer from chronic Lyme disease) and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

To be truthful, we've never really thought of Hadid as much of a foodie the way we do her besties/amateur chefs Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss. Does she have the skills to serve up a dish that'll win Ramsay's elusive stamp of approval?

"When I was 11, I made truffle risotto for my family for Christmas dinner," Gigi Hadid recalls when asked about her proudest cooking moment.

Pretty impressive, but will the pressure of the competition get to her?

"What's more intimidating?" Ramsay asks in the teaser clip below. "Is it the fashion runways or the MasterChef kitchen?"

"Honestly, it's this," Hadid admits, "because I only get starstruck over chefs."

GIGI HADID ATE A BURGER EVERY WEEK FOR ONE YEAR TO BECOME A BURGER MASTER

So THIS is how she won MasterChef…

Last night, surprise cook Gigi Hadid won MasterChef "Celebrity Showdown" against fellow Victoria's Secret model Devon Windsor with one "f*cking delicious" burger—judge Gordon Ramsay's words—that she prepared. Its recipe was the result of a year-long research process, Gigi said: "The first year I lived in New York, I tried a different burger every week to find my favorite burger in New York."

This experience inspired her "very special" patty recipe: one made with beef, pickled jalapeños, and a spiced crispy onion nest. Judge Christina Tosi called it "juicy" and the potato crisps Gigi served it with "perfect."

The dish won her $25,000, which she donated to the Global Lyme Alliance for Lyme Disease.

"I always say eat clean to stay fit, have a burger to stay sane," Gigi told the crowd, giving us 2016's most reasonable diet advice yet.

I think it's very admirable that she's helping out those with Lyme disease. Well done.
