GIGI HADID TO TEST HER CULINARY SKILLS ON 'MASTERCHEF'
So we know the Gigi Hadid has the catwalk on lock, but how's her handle on the kitchen arena? The model is set to appear on the special "Celebrity Showdown" episode of Gordon Ramsay's cooking reality show MasterChef, airing on FOX on Monday, January 18. Hadid will face off against fellow model Devon Windsor as they battle it out to raise $25,000 for their respective charities: Global Lyme Disease Alliance (Hadid's siblings Bella and Anwar and mother Yolanda Foster all suffer from chronic Lyme disease) and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
To be truthful, we've never really thought of Hadid as much of a foodie the way we do her besties/amateur chefs Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss. Does she have the skills to serve up a dish that'll win Ramsay's elusive stamp of approval?
"When I was 11, I made truffle risotto for my family for Christmas dinner," Gigi Hadid recalls when asked about her proudest cooking moment.
Pretty impressive, but will the pressure of the competition get to her?
"What's more intimidating?" Ramsay asks in the teaser clip below. "Is it the fashion runways or the MasterChef kitchen?"
"Honestly, it's this," Hadid admits, "because I only get starstruck over chefs."
