Giorgio Armani F/W 2025 : Edie Campbell & Liu Wen by Karim Sadli

Karim Sadli, for real? I know he's pretty versatile but this is totally refreshing.

All Armani campaigns are timeless, just breathtaking imagery.
So true, the beautiful thing is that it's the photographer who adapts to their style, never the other way around. Would you ever have guessed they were the work of Karim Sadli? I wouldn't, and yet look at this extraordinary result.

The black guy is Samuel Elie.

The profile of the white guy looks a bit like Simon Nessman’s but Simon has much bigger lips
My bad, I meant
Enea Figini 🙅‍♂️
Simon Nessman 🙆

Weibo user i-rma told me that is Simon Nessman

Liu Wen is the quintessential Giorgio Armani girl. I love her in the campaigns for the brand! She is understated and elegant and I like Edie for the brand as well. She is feminine yet masculine and androgynous. I love the campaigns for this brand! They're so sophisticated and timeless! I just love the late 80s/early 90s style of the photographs taken. They always feel like something from a 90s or 80s film about elegant women but like timeless at the same time.

The first part, as mentioned, is a lookbook. This is the team:
Photographer: Robin Galiegue
Hair Stylist: Lukas Tralmer
Makeup Artist: Karim Rahman
Casting Director: Geremia Schiano
Models: Aivita Mūze, Kit Butler, Long Li, Mila van Eeten, Samuel Elie, Tim Schuhmacher

It's really confusing. Was one of the images of the lookbook sent to Vogue Italia as campaign? and are they disappointed? or they had to fill the magazine slot that's been paid long before the release of the official AD? so the house decided to feature Edie and Liu to shoot an official campaign?

It looks to me like some houses are reusing lookbook shots as campaigns if the quality is strong enough. GA seems to be doing this lately, and YSL also had two separate shoots before. Maybe it’s just becoming a more common practice.
Anyway, as long as it looks good, I’m happy to see it!
