LOL Roald Amundsen anytime anyway anywhere to any celeb influencer.
Armani is one of, if not the one, who’s revolutionized the way modern fashion is dreamed of and consumed of, more than any other designer, as far as I'm concerned. So the respect for him will always be there when looking at his archive. But just like Ralph Lauren, his current-day offerings are just more clothes that are no different than clothes from his previous collections from a year, 3 years, 5 years, 7 years, 10 years ago... It’s the epitome of same old same old: For A/W, cozy, chunky knits and even cozier and chunkier suitings, with the prerequisite velvets, all warmly tucked into hiking footwear. And for S/S, shiny silks and unconstructed loosey-goosey linen suitings worn with loafers. Rinse and repeat. Some nice separates as always but also kind of old and dusty as always. More importantly, he brand is in such desperate need of the eye of a master like Herb Ritts/Aldo Fallai/Peter Lindbergh to bring back the art of fashion imagery and a strong stylist to refresh the silhouette for designs that are, a tad long in the tooth by now. The modern campaigns have been, at best— highend department-store catalogue shoots.
Nice looking cast, as always of course..
