Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture S/S 2025 Paris

HIs finale appearance greeting his clientele actually brought a tear: This man has taught, informed, and influenced the way that I view/consume/live with fashion even if I have moved on from his sensibility a long time ago, and in a sense, his world. But I will always appreciate that gilded world, even as an outsider looking in. The imagery, the designs, the branding is so organic here: Nothing contrived-- as unreal, even surreal as the women dressed in shimmering jewels of dreams as it may be. No reliance on current-day Supers; celebs; stunt casting; SM-baiting; styling tricks cuz all those trappings just seem shameful in the presence of him… Just the ultimate in luxury, refinement and exclusivity for those fortunate to live that life. That classic Chanel cadet jacket in pure pale crystal and jewels but look light as a feather, like a real mithril jacket. And I instantly thought of Hedi’s Celine crystal-embellished jacket in the similar Chanel cadet style— except Hedi’s crystal design is in the pattern of croc skin. Both jackets are equally, absurdly gorgeous, and for a very rarified world, but a very real world all the same. Both never seem to design for some phantom ideal that so many others are lost in. Rarely are any shows worth a rewatch, but like Hedi's final Celine womenswear show, I've rewatched this Armani show. It is emotional.

(FYI people, Jean Claude doesn’t like anyone and anything post-1999 LMFAO)

@kasper!
That Celine jacket is stunning !!!!!!!! 😭

I wish Armani would make Armani Privé for men or something because this collection is just so stunning. It made relook at the Armani collections for men to see what I can buy.

^^^ The Armani Privé clientele's husband is just fine with a tux!

You’re fine… Just your natural, primal, feral fashion instincts taking over. Even Mullet wouldn’t be able to resist such fashion magic.
For sure !

Brad's relationship with Armani, and Demi going to the show- for sure, we'll see her in one of these looks next month.
Realizing the Oscars are not in February this year, but March 2nd. So, in two month's we'll see what Demi chose.

Hedi's first co-ed Privé collection will be here before you know it😉

Giorgio can take his time retiring if there's more where this came from, though.

Always kind of dusty on the runway but then you see it on celebs on various red carpets and it looks incredible.
My only regret with him is that he's really sh*t at casting.
You nailed it!

I'm too tired to look through 90 something looks ATM but looks 35 and 36 would be immense on someone like Zendaya on the Oscars red carpet. Total class.

I just need to know where the Hedi going to Armani rumour came from ? I keep hearing that.

This what looking like a million bucks looks like.
A lot of ugly and dated things and then the most glorious, luxurious and sexy dresses. Armani plays with our emotions.

I’m still impressed by the quality of those fabrics and the flawless execution. I know the clients enjoyed it!

~I mean it's not perfect but my god, this is what money looks like. Everything screams rich and taste. It's the material Alexis Mabille will never get hands on.

He's a champ for doing the walk after all these years. Like, 90 yrs old? Legend.

Brad idk if he has ever worn Armani, but Cate Blanchett and Demi for sure ( tho Cate might go with Louis Vuitton ). I expect Adrien Brody, the nominee for best actor to wear GA (90% because he attended Armani latest menswear show)

I endorse every single comment of admiration and love posted in this thread.

I was hypnotised for the most part of the show, constantly wowed, not an hysterical wow, but a quiet and almost silent wow.
Losing myself in the embroideries, strucked by the perfection of many looks (perfection achieved sometimes with the highest simplicity and always effortlessly).

When he came out at the end it moved me. A whole life dedicated to your art. The kindest one, but with the inner strength of a warrior.
A legend.
People like him should live forever ❤️
