1. Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong - Summertime

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yKgAEkCKxY

for a really pompous S/S collection which seems perfect for a night in the middle of summer, when it's unstandable hot.

2. Mika Nakashima - Love Addict

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lulNNQEsZmI

when the collection is really sensual but very sexy. "Tom Ford at his best" kinda sexy.

3. bird - Game

(can't find a video for that.... youtube only got the single version, but i'm talking about the album version which has a "downtown" feeling. perfect city soundtrack.

for a couture collection inspired by the speed and pulse and life of a metropolis.

4. m-flo loves DOUBLE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9_smGcigqE

same as the above

5. m-flo loves CHARA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8mVGpokNxg

for big, colorful, gorgeously flowy dresses. full of life.

5 songs which give you serious shivers. and when. (i mean, at what moment in the song)

1. Duffy- Warwick Avenue
All the days spent together, I wish for better
and I didn't want the train to come, now it's departed
I'm broken hearted, seems like we never started.
All those things here together, when I wished for better
And I didn't want the train to come

2. Sufjan Stevens- The Predatory Wasps of the Palisades is Out to Get us!
I can't explain the state that I'm in
The state of my heart, he was my best friend
Into the car, from the backseat
Oh, admiration in falling asleep
All of my powers, day after day
I can tell you, we swaggered and swayed
Deep in the tower, the prairies below
I can tell you, the telling gets old
Terrible sting and terrible storm
I can tell you the day we were born
My friend is gone, he ran away
I can tell you, I love him each day
Though we have sparred, wrestled and raged
I can tell you, I love him each day
Terrible sting and terrible storm
I can tell you

3. Rufus Wainwright- Memphis Skyline
Then came hallelujah sounding like Ophelia
for me in my room living
So kiss me, my darling stay with me till morning
Turn back and you will stay
Under the Memphis Skyline

4. Elliot Smith-Waltz. No 1
Now I never leave my zone
We're both alone I'm going home
I wish I'd never seen your face

5. Fiona Apple- Love Ridden
Only kisses on the cheek from now on
And in a little while, well only have to wave
My hand wont hold you down no more
The path is clear to follow through
I stood too long in the way of the door
And now Im giving up on you.

 Same thing. 5 songs that gave you shivers when you heard them and at what part....

Son House -- John the Revelator
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vAczJUkwU0
I got the piss shivers hearing this song for the first time. I got into a lot of blues when I was younger, it was so much more real and had everything I felt most rock was missing. You can't deny the substance in the early bluesmen. I can honestly say this music changed the way I lived for a period of time and the way I thought and saw the rest of the world.

Nirvana -- Scentless Apprentice
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtphYnoKnyU
When this song came out I just wanted to go out and break sh!t. It was great. First time I heard it was on cassette :ninja: in class. :innocent:

Jimi Hendrix -- 1983 (a Merman I Should Turn to Be)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmRoGtiJp_E&feature=related
This showed me Jimi Hendrix's crazy experimental side, I still to this day get lost in all the ambient noises going on in the song.

BB King -- the Thrill is Gone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4GfRQSE-Ak
This song is just so driving, his earlier performances are far better than anything he's done modern.

Buckethead -- Soothsayer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moqy4G74afc&feature=related
I haven't been this excited about music in a while. This guy is THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER ALIVE TODAY. Everything about his playing is awesome. He's not just fast, he has the power to distract you, you get lost in his notes. Side note: I met antsofdali at the Buckethead show in Anaheim a while back, now she's here at TFS. She's a far bigger fan than I am too. Take a bow, D.
