yes, it is maxi. it may look a bit smaller bc it collaspes like a balenciaga bag to drape around you. my black calf maxi was more rigid and structured. i am 5' 7" without shoes and i usually have at least 3 " heels on...B)

i think the nightingale is starting to grow on me.. can someone tell me how much the maxi in calf leather retails for in the US ? i found one in London and am finding the price to be much more expensive - it's equivalent to US$2500 ? Does that sound too much ?

actually, i just found out that the one everyone is calling "calf" actually is deerskin (cervo/cerf)...

but anyway, the max i in deer is $1695

Does anyone know if the original Maxi -- the really big, slouchy size as seen on Ashley Olsen (not the medium, square-ish size worn by Reese Witherspoon) -- can still be found in stores in the US? I'm looking for a black one (am open to other colors also) but just crave the large Maxi size. I LOVE how the large Maxi DRAPES and have been eyeing this bag for a while. All they have at Barneys (store & online) nowadays seems to be the medium-sized ones, which just isn't extra-ordinary in my mind albeit still looking quite nice. Could somebody please help?
