oh PP u're lucky to find them on sale.. i say snatch atleast one of them if u think u will regret it later... but i personaly just love the black one.... i spoke 2 an SA in Barneys and she told me they just received new shipments of the bag and they will not go on sale..

The nightingale is definitely not going on sale anytime soon.. Barneys is getting new shipments of the bag as we speak and they'll be sold in a flash!

Do you know if it's the original Nightingale with the thick strap? or is it the newer version with the thin strap? I want the original version so very badly.

PP --- I do love the cream nightengale, and the B Romanek clutches are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I genereally do not like Dolce bags, so I would go with the two I just mentioned, skip the pony Givenchy and the D&G...

THIS...I have to tell you...I have two Nightangles on hold for me,Did I say two??Yes two,50% off At a local Boutique where I live,One is the cream one...the other one is the Ponyhair,they are keeping them for me only until Tomorrow....
But I'm thinking of not getting either one of them because Since I already have a black Nightangle,I wanna get A dolce and Gabbana white bag that I love,and a B.Romanek croc clutch instead,I cant afford more than 2 bags this time,even if they're on sale.....Call me Crazy!
On second thought....Should I get one of the Nightangles instead???

It's a Regular black Ponyskin with the hair,but they shaved part of the hairs to make a thin zebra'ish pattern...its beautiful.......I'm picking them up right now,but still not sure which one i should get!!!!
All of them are beautiful!!!!!

But the cream still waiting for me at the shop....just in case i change my mind or if I wanna get both!!But I dont think I'm getting both...Two nightangles are enuf for me...
Alejandro...It's not a real Zebra skin....Its Black Pony hair shaved to form a zebra pattern....Real Zebra skin ,the stripes would be bigger
Should I return this and get the cream???

I have never owned a Givenchy Bag, and wondered about the quality & wear.

the quality is ok.
the leathers are ok; not the best i've ever seen.
i don't love how the bags have a beige cotton lining (it's like a bedsheet) and plastic zipper inside. they really could do a lot better than that, especially for how much it costs.

Well they surely won't be putting the nightengale on sale anytime soon, they can't keep them on the shelves. I was shockd to read that they went on sale in Europe (although, if I remember correctly, the UK price was higher to begin with...), because it is so hard to get a hold of here...

they're not so hard to get a hold of outside of NY at least, there are plenty of them sitting on the shelf in good ol' boston, at both barneys here.

Ok So now I'm in a dilemma!!!! I just received the black maxi nightingale from Barneys and although I love the bag I am kind of disappointed with the hardware.. I've always wanted a bag with no obvious hardware, not gold or silver so I got all excited abt the gunmetal hardware of the bag and how it blends in with the black leather.. well.. it turns out I got the one from the fall collection with the gold hardware I don't want to return the bag since I doubt they'll ever bring the original bag back into production..

I am seriously considering 'manipulating' the hardware in a crazy scientific experiment to turn it gunmetal Help!

ok.. so dilemma solved... i actually found the bag here in Dubai last piece and with the gunmetal hardware I'm returning the one I got back to Barneys for either a refund or store credit!! what a waste it was for the international shipping
