I got my matte black lambskin nightingale yesterday - it's exquisite! I'm so happy with it! I ended up getting the maxi size which isn't what I originally wanted, but I bought from ebay in the end so got a maxi for less than the medium in stores + no customs fees. It's HUGE! When I pulled it out of the bag I was laughing at first I thought at the size -but I was laughing with giddy excitement and hysterical joy at my satisfaction with this bag.

And now I sound like a raging nutcase. I guess that's when you know you've gone over the handbag deep end.

Anyways! I'm sorry if this post comes off incredibly self serving - I just wanted to gush about this bag to someone and no one I know cares about bags.

fragonard, if it's not a Christmas present for someone I guess there's no harm in waiting. The nightingale hasn't gone on sale in previous years from what I know, but given the current economic climate, it wouldn't hurt to wait, as I think there's a possibility it might be discounted.
If not, you can always pick it up later as the demand for it has eased up and it seems relatively easy to purchase one.
