I don't know which ones the Olsens have but Carmen's white nightengale and Melanie Huynh's bag don't look like the xl based on the dimension alone...my weekender is smaller than the xl based on the dimension given but it looks bigger on my 6' tall frame than the bags look on the girls...

carmen's is absolutely not the maxi, it is the med. (it looks so nice stuffed!)--but compare it to the pic of ashley w/her maxi....

Yes, I do love bright bags esp. since most of my wardrobe is neutrals

The ostrich handles really make it for me, I wouldnt get it w/o them.

I called Selfridges today they only had the large in, if I were to get one I would go for the XL, I like the way it hangs.

I like the shape of the bag.. I'm so near to ordering it..

the nightingale i really really want is the mudcloth print canvas... a friend of mine confirmed for me that they had it at the ave george v givenchy in paris when she was there a few weeks ago..... but do any of you know if anyone will be stocking this one in the us??

Morriseel said she'll be getting it in a few weeks, so then hopefully What I'm afraid of is the higher prices in australia, but I called all the barneys stores and none of them had it.

definatly go for the XL. I also really love the way it hangs. I wish I could pull off a giant blue bag!

ok guys, not to confuse you, i saw the medium size nightengale in black crinkled patent and white crinkled patent. i couldnt stop laughing bc one of you all posted a pix from somewhere that the new black patent looked a little S and M bondage. it did NOT have gold hardware or new strap like in pix. it was pewter hardware with shoulder strap that zips up. it was sorta smiling at me.....so, i dont know what to say about pix of black crinkled patent from fall 07... the bag was about a blaenciaga city size.( hey guys, i speak balenciaga.) you could not put the short handles on your shoulder.

i cant wait to get my XL black calf so i can compare it to the ones i just saw IRL.

^I'd say my medium fits about what a paddington fits, a bit more cause the shape is more accomodating for agendas, a magazine, a big scarf/shawl

i would say the medium looks bigger than a chloe paddy to me but really closest to a bal city. stay tuned for XL first hand details......


now the only question i have now is, was the crinkled black patent done as the traditonal nightengale before they changed the shoulder strap and clasps and then will be redone in crinkled black patent with new strap like those pix? the one i saw today was with the traditional bondage (LOL) zipper strap.

^ the one you saw was the s/s 07 version.....the one for a/w has the gross cheap strap and gold hw.
