The selection at these other stores is very very limited though. I suggest just going to the Givenchy boutique.

I think the Givenchy bags are a great alternative to the Balenciaga/Dior/LV/Chanel mania. Just like Lanvin. Julien wasn't too great at Givenchy, but he certainly had a great accessories designer. Their bags were almost always incredible.

I agree completely... I have the large Pumpkin bag in off-white/cream, and I love it. I get compliments on it every time I use it. It is so unusual and off-beat, and not easily recognizable. The leather is sumptuous -- so soft to the touch. It smells so good too. The quality is excellent. And it is so flexible in terms of how much I can put in it -- when I stuff it to the brim and leave the drawstring open, it looks like a very different bag when I just have a few things and have the drawstrings completely closed. It is surprising how much I can throw in there!!

Everytime I take it out of the dustbag to use, my heart still skips a beat ... I've had it for close to a year now, and don't regret ever buying it.

Agreed, there have been some great accessories excitement in Julien's term - already seems so long ago now, and yet no one still to replace him!

The large pumpkin was one that I was interested in (not the main one though). Anyways... could anyone tell me how much the large pumpkin is? Also how much their bags generally run price wise... the least amount to the most expensive?

my large (leather) pumpkin was $1360 + tax = $1433

i know the small pumpkin is ~$900-1000.

they also had the large pumpkin in a special, very soft leather, and that was $1680...

i think the ones in suede are a little cheaper, but not sure.

i don't think they go on sale, because they sell out pretty quickly.

i would try EBAY... there are a few legitimate sellers from Paris who get the older versions from sample sales... they go for about $400-500... i've seen some older season bags; they don't have the braided shoulder strap, and they have shorter tassels.

Well Im not really wanting a pumpkin bag right now...it was just a thought for later. Right now Im interested in another bag & I havent seen it on Ebay. I never see any of the Givenchy bags that I want on Ebay. They only seem to have the popular ones.

I absolutely love Givenchy. Very well made bags. And as far as purchasing you can always call the boutique in NYC and order.

I'm so excited, I just bought a Givenchy pumpkin bag on eBay. I wanted an orange one, but I called the boutique and they have discontinued the style (although the lady said they still have a small gold one, if anyone wants it).
I wonder why they nixed it, it is a very distinctive bag...
