I've got some beautiful ones by Bruno Bordesi that I bought in Milan. They are flat, but less basic than the regular ones. Will try to find a picture to post.
has anyone seen/bought the gladiator-type sandals from lolli by reincarnation?
i think they're kinda cute, and i wanna get 'em, i've been looking for a gladiator-ish sandal (but not as literally gladiator as the tara subkoff ones)...and i like how you can wear these in many different ways.....but i'm wondering about quality.....
or if there are any similar ones made by other companies.....? i love the idea... http://www.lolli-reincarnation.com/collectionsshoes.php
I am going on a winter holiday soon and have just purchased the BEST pair of gladiator sandals on ebay from a seller called tin-tina...they are amazing! I got the brown but I think I might go back for more colours! They are so authentic as they are proper ones from Greece - they have Greek writing inside and everything!
To be honest, I don't like these sandals. Never liked them. I think it's somewhat of an overkill in terms of strappy footwear. Only extremely strappy sandals I'm okay with are those sandals which you have to lace up all the way up to about maybe your upper calf or knees. These shoes are more modest, though. I just don't like sandals in this design. Never liked them on ladies. Probably never will.
I love gladiator sandals (not those up-to-the-knees ones, though, I don't get those). They are easy, comfortable and I really like that they are neither cute or pretty.
I have a dark brown pair that come just to the ankle and love them, cooler alternative to thongs in hot weather, been wearing them for years, not just recently as a 'trendy' item. Get quite a few compliments on them too. B)
