LOL I have the heech too!!!

and iLoveCouture is right, most of TFS does! :P

I love gladiator sandals except for non thing flats. I love thing flats and most anythin heels or wedges- the higher the better. Platforms ar yummy. I like closed heels and open toes. I like the double ankle strappy types. I gues because they remind me of 80s bondage shoes...

a question to those in the northern hemisphere....

i'm heading to the usa in a week and i'm not sure whether to bring my tan gladiator sandals with me, they were really big in australia last summer, but i feel like that they're a little passe now.... especially since they were EVERYWHERE here!!!

they're similar to these - what do you guys think.. bring them, or leave them at home and buy a new style???

i have the Heech too... 2 pairs in black and 1 brown hahahaha!

misstiz you're right, gladiators are EVERYWHERE. but i think they're still really cute for this summer even though everyone has them. if i were you i would bring them with me anyway because you'll probably still get a lot of wear out of them, and just look for a new replacement on your trip. let us know what you find!

gladiators are NOT a fashion or seasonal shoe (as in summer season) but really a classic. i would classify the heel/wedge version as more of a trend but the classic should now be in everyones wardrobe and come out every summer!!!

Thanks guys :flower: I'm going to bring them with me... and maybe still buy a new style while I'm there :innocent:!!

The black ones here dont look like the Cynthia Vincent ones? They seem to be different.. Does anyone know who designed these?

ALSO where do they carry Cynthia Vincent shoes? I am on the hunt for the Luella ones in brown and cannot locate them. I dont think Barneys or Nords carrys Cythia shoes.. I called and they said no... HELP ME thank you

I talk about the gladiator sandals in Post #812. Ten years ago, I remember when fisherman sandals... weren't so much all the rage, but were the best un-cute or not-supposed-to-be-cute-or-sexy sandals. There are gladiator sandals that I like. But just like mini skirt + leggings and open-toe boots, I just ease up on styles to show that I try not to hate every style and that I'm not such a rough critic.

Now on to the gladiator sandals in Post #812. Those sandals look very lovely. The wedge heel design and all the straps blend in very nicely. I'd go for those gladiator sandals if I were a femme. Lovely.

if i could i would wear gladiators non stop, I absolutely love them, it doesnt matter if they are flats or heels.

I love this thread!!! I love weird looking gladiators.. not those old jobilyn ones by Nine West (sorry!) And I too had the heeches which were cool but everyone had them so I sold them :(

Love these!

The ones I like in Post #816 are the first ones (very alright shoes), the third pair (pretty cool), and the fourth pair (best of all of the ones in that post). As for the velcro thing, I was very okay with velcro because I didn't learn to tie my own shoes until I was about 13 or 15! The gladiator sandals in Post #817 are very cool. Not lovely, not glamourous, but pretty cool.

Eisley - the ones you posted are indeed Cynthia Vincent. She added the zipper to the newer style this season. You are looking at last season's version.
