I was in the Hermès shop in Selfridges, London to check out the Birkins B) and I caught a glimpse of some fantastic gladiator-esque sandals with a straps over the higher bit of the foot, then one for the big toe.


It's quite fitting because the Hermes (Greek Olympian God) statue in the Louvre shows him fastening his sandal.

The moral of the story; it was a sexy pair of sandals, somebody should buy them
