Today I tried on the Nine West gladiator wedges that everyone on TFS seems to own, and really liked them. But I want to buy shoes that will last me for more than one season, so my question is, will these still be wearable in the seasons to come? Normally I couldn't care less about following trends or wearing something that isn't fashionable, but I admit I do try to avoid wearing trends that are horribly dated.

^ yeeeah... i know what you mean. in my opinion a lot of people are probably sick of them already but i still like them, but i wonder how i'll feel next season lol

anyways i bought these from online from urban outfitters... i'm having a bit of buyers remorse. i like them but the leather feels very cheap and not soft at all more so than i expected. and the dang buckles are difficult to fasten. ohhhh well i still like :D

Has anyone tried the Lauren by Ralph Lauren version? Do they run true to size?

im yet to find the nine west "heech" in other colours. as its seems the flat version comes in every single colour, i would love the high one in a fun colour like blue :)

again, depending where u live they will never be over!! :woot:
the warmer the place you live, more normal they are to wear every year :)

I bought these recently and they are insanely comfortable.

^ those look sturdy and cute.

gasoline rainbow, i think gladiators are what huraches were a few seasons ago. always been around but spiking in popularity, but narrow enough as a trend (not too mainstream) to not seem too dated if you keep wearing them after the trend has passed. as long as it's really your style, why not keep wearing them?

I've got short legs, so given a choice I usually go for heels (and those red sandals are so cute). But the middle pair are cute, too. I'm not feeling the first pair.

bondage...

I got these from urbanog.com (think these were posted already)... they have an ebay store too, got em there cheaper. My boyfriend said they looked like bondage sandals. And a male friend of mine tried to give me a bondage collar, saying they went with the shoes... men!

'bondage like' when I showed them to him! Definitely men! lol
:p

i know the men's gladiator's topic has come and gone but...

do you guys have any suggestions for good black men's (looking) gladiators that around (more or less) mid calf in height?

im looking all over for mens and might just have to get some really large masculine women's ones :)
