i so want to cry right now. i called to track my chanel gladiators and turns out the SA is out...so the manager looked the order up and THEY NEVER HAD THEM when i supposedly put in the order! waiting for the SA to go back to work tomorrow =/

Generally, I like it when they are not overdone, rather on the classic side. It also depends on your overall style.

I have a pair that stops below the ankle, I got it on vacation to Italy last year (I think?) really cheap.
Gladiator sandals are not my favourite shoes though, so cheap is good enough for me

I too would love to have the Chanel knee high ones but until then I'm crossing my fingers for a good replica. I'd like some short tan ones though-they help combat the stubby leg syndrome that non-models tend to get when wearing gladiators!

Ebay has a cheap version of the knee high Chanel ones. When I say cheap I mean they arent real leather but they are also only $22.99.
