I really love those leather gloves that only cover your fingers like the ones that Lindsay Lohan always wears and was wearing in the cover story photos for September Elle...Her's are by Chanel even though she acts like she made them

I want some that look like these but I don't have Chanel money..anyone seen these anywhere else?

Long OR elbow gloves : EXCELLENT! (especially when worn with a baggy knit top and the gloves scrunched down)

Lindsay Style Gloves: DISASTER...sometimes I wonder if Karl is secretly evil..no GOOD person could design such awful, i-look-like-i-am-trying-way-too-hard! items

Well thanks, they are really short. Actually i am going to wear them with jackets which have three quarter length sleeves, plus pencil skirt and ankle boots in Fall.

I like the look of gloves with knee long dresses, but it dosen't mean I'll wear them myself in real life. you know?

ysl had some nice mens gloves, i saw a really nice pair of grey suede ones.

some of those marc jacobs runways pictures are to die for, the black dress with the white long gloves is my favorite. the black dress with brown gloves is nice too, the gloves are a beautiful color.

This is a lovely look...reminds me of more romantic, olden times
It's really diffcult to pull off, I'll admit, but I just got myself a pair of velvet slouchy long gloves.
I think I'll try wearing them with a short sleeved cable-knit long cardi with a slip dress underneath..it'll be fun to see how I can work them into my fall warerobe.
(A plus point, gloves do make your diamond ring look larger )

I am a big fan of gloves for the winter, especially with 3/4 sleeve coats. (a short glove with an unusual cuff, actually, appeals to me with the 3/4 sleeve more than a longer glove) but it has only been a couple of years since gloves were making the rounds, so I've been gravitating towards more unusual styles this time around, such as hand knitted vintage gloves and styles with quirky button details, etc. I just found some beautiful edwardian (age-yellowed) ivory knitted fingerless gloves that will definitely be playing a major part in my winter wardrobe.

it's a trend that is very open to individual interpretation, which is lovely.
