The poll isn't an exact science, but if you accept that everyone exercises their right to choose 1 or 20 girls when they do vote - the results still reflect what people think. Again, I didn't vote for some girls merely because they don't fit my personal criteria for being a new face in S/S 09; but that doesn't mean they don't deserve the attention or accolades. It's still an interesting survey, and no doubt our collective voice will be seen beyond those of tFS. I like knowing we have the power to influence.
Awesome thread Mr-Dale and ModSquad, if I haven't said so already
Wonderful idea Mr Dale but I think a lot of us weren't exactly clear on whether we could vote for 1 or 10 or somewhere in between (myself included... - I inadvertently voted for one model).
I see that 93 members have now voted in this poll for a total of 536 votes, so on average this is only 5.7 votes per member!
Now that most of us will be wiser, it would be interesting to see what a second poll would show, this time perhaps stipulating that we must vote for 10 models. This would also increase our power to vote negatively .
Lakshmi Menon is an awesome exotic beauty, she`s excatly what fashion industry needs, more diversity!!! Arlenis Sosa Pena brings also variety to business, she`s not my favorite though, but I´m always happy when someone not with pale skin and blue-eyes pops up!
A great top ten but some are not real newcomers like L Menon and Lui Wen who had really successful careers in India and chine. Shame the lovely Cato didn't quite make it though
