if ever i need a good laugh - i turn on that video. or lovely head's video. the first one. oh, goodness. i love her love/hate relationship with that tree ;)

oh KCRW is (i think - probably) my most favourite radio show theyve ever done!

it was just soooooo amazing. surprisingly because alison was sick at the time with a terrible cold. her voice was so full & warm & the band was so tight - it was just too too good.

have you seen the videos on youtube of it?! :lol: alison up to being her normal silly self again...

she did not sound like it at all!

i have not seen those but i will have a gander NOW! :lol:

ahhhh she looks as if she's being tortured and run out in that interview...haha...she absolutely detests interviews.

those facial expressions! :wub:

i have the entire show on file if you want it, love.

those youtube clips get only slightly annoying at times...

it's hard to believe how shy and timid she really is....alot of people don't realise that about her till they see her in interviews and even during shows between songs. it's fairly obvious coming from somebody who shares that same trait ;)

keep that file for me....next month i'm getting a new macbook for my b-day and i will ask for it then. this crappy computer is terribly unreliable and every time i download something big,it creates a mind of its own,if you know what i mean. terribly frustrating.

insights from the bexhill gig tonight;

• scantily clad morris dancers (two femmes)
• stripping to their knickers during caravan girl & dancing around a maypole
• regular 'ooh la la' added back to the setlist
• train (!) added as well including the return of the theremin :woot:
• new ending to 'little bird' & 'you never know'
• bons bons thrown out during the encore

EEEE!

looks like alison got all that she had wished for

set list is as follows;

1. Paper Bag
2. A&E
3. Utopia
4. Cologne Cerrone Houdini
5. You Never Know
6. Road To Somewhere
7. Clowns
8. Little Bird
9. Number 1
10. Train
11. Happiness
12. Monster Love
13. Ooh La La
...................................

14. Caravan Girl
15. Strict Machine

:woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

they better be coming back to nyc before the tours complete...

the cheek! :lol:

great looking set. i'd love to hear,after hearing the paper bag version,how they would reinterpret lovely head or human or even utopia...

it's great though because i don't think they've performed any song from felt mountain since black cherry.

I'd be so, so grateful if someone could post a few pics of Alison's Supernature Tour from 2006. A mate of mine styled her for the tour, but I, being completely inept where it comes to the internet, am unable to find any images! :lol:

Thanks SO much!!

^is your friend the same person that styled their album sleeve?

(im finally back! phew...)

ill get you some pictures cute_as_a_button, dont worry :D

& what do you mean by styled exactly? i know alison has said many, many times she dislikes the idea of having a stylist as its strange to have someone else dress you & make an image for you other than yourself.

to scott - i know the person responsible for the art direction of their album sleeves (though i dont think that the same as styled) & hes a guy...

as promised ^_^

enjoy! theres plenty more where these came from ;)

(photos from where watermarked & the rest from my personal collection)

i see--i know cathy edwards was credited in the sleeve for creating those looks and she is a sylist as listed on showstudio....she's worked with emma cook and done stuff in dazed. that's why i was wondering.

i have admit though...i wasn't that thrilled with the attire of the supernature tour except for a couple looks like the grey one she wore at jools holland. it just didn't seem entirely her personal vision and it was overstylised,imo. when alison is dynamically attired,as with black cherry and felt mountain and now even with seventh tree,there's always a slight offness about which makes it enchanting to me. and doesn't she make alot of her own stuff? i know that horse-tail costume she wore at glastonbury in 03 or 04 she herself had made that.....out of a sex shop strap-on dildo :lol:
