me tooooo! id give anything to be a goldfrapp tour groupie
they are even going to australia - did you hear?!!
im not sure they have a berlin gig though...theres going to be one in amsterdam thats the only single show they are doing in europe other than the festivals of course...
oh btw,you mentioned the KCRW show they did,on that show they performed a beautiful version of paper bag and it's avail for download thanks to the wonderful frenchman at the best frapp fansite on the web.
if ever i need a good laugh - i turn on that video. or lovely head's video. the first one. oh, goodness. i love her love/hate relationship with that tree
oh KCRW is (i think - probably) my most favourite radio show theyve ever done!
it was just soooooo amazing. surprisingly because alison was sick at the time with a terrible cold. her voice was so full & warm & the band was so tight - it was just too too good.
have you seen the videos on youtube of it?! alison up to being her normal silly self again...
it's hard to believe how shy and timid she really is....alot of people don't realise that about her till they see her in interviews and even during shows between songs. it's fairly obvious coming from somebody who shares that same trait
keep that file for me....next month i'm getting a new macbook for my b-day and i will ask for it then. this crappy computer is terribly unreliable and every time i download something big,it creates a mind of its own,if you know what i mean. terribly frustrating.

I'd be so, so grateful if someone could post a few pics of Alison's Supernature Tour from 2006. A mate of mine styled her for the tour, but I, being completely inept where it comes to the internet, am unable to find any images!
ill get you some pictures cute_as_a_button, dont worry
& what do you mean by styled exactly? i know alison has said many, many times she dislikes the idea of having a stylist as its strange to have someone else dress you & make an image for you other than yourself.
to scott - i know the person responsible for the art direction of their album sleeves (though i dont think that the same as styled) & hes a guy...
& since weve been on the subject of supernature, art design, styling & the like - i just came across this very interesting article with the set designer for the supernature photoshoot set
i see--i know cathy edwards was credited in the sleeve for creating those looks and she is a sylist as listed on showstudio....she's worked with emma cook and done stuff in dazed. that's why i was wondering.
i have admit though...i wasn't that thrilled with the attire of the supernature tour except for a couple looks like the grey one she wore at jools holland. it just didn't seem entirely her personal vision and it was overstylised, imo. when alison is dynamically attired,as with black cherry and felt mountain and now even with seventh tree, there's always a slight offness about which makes it enchanting to me. and doesn't she make alot of her own stuff? i know that horse-tail costume she wore at glastonbury in 03 or 04 she herself had made that.....out of a sex shop strap-on dildo
