I haven't been keeping up-to-date with them but if that's the case^ am very curious what will come out of them next. And maybe what I've been looking forward to all this time ^^. They have all this freedom now

additionally, if this could turn out as some sort of weird influence

btw,they are also in the process of compiling a 'best of..' album subsequent to their contract ending. i really hope it contains some of their non-recorded b-sides like 'fondue knight' and 'little death'.

anyway,to your point,gius,i'm in agreement. they had so much freedom when they first signed with mute and that allowed them to make such a breathtaking debut. i really hope that with this newfound freedom they might actually play to that. no constraints often inspires something incredibly magical. we all know what they're truly capable of producing....the possibilities are endless.

Great news to hear, I hope so too! All the Felt Mountain b-sides are simply delicious, in fact I'm listening to Fondue Knights as we speak

^It really is, plus it reminds me I actually fell in love with Goldfrapp right at this time of year. I remember listening Utopia over and over during Christmas few years ago

You guys also know about Gone to Earth and the two remixes: Lovely Head (miss world mix) and Utopia (new ears mix)? They were played in a section on their first official website.. I still remember that so clearly, each page was like a world of its own Purple skies, mountains, porcelain figures and men with falcon heads doing a waltz.. So creative! I didn't know much about computers back then, I wish I could have screencapped it or something.. Wish I could see it again

the background music was also really nice, I think I may have one on an old computer.

I don't remember if it was already mentioned, but I put it just in case some Goldfrapp fan wanted to find a rare remix etc. There's a fabulous jukebox which contains probably every possible Goldfrapp song (and Alison's appearances, collaborations, mashups etc!)

gius,what a world that was indeed! i was so in love with that particular site....i visited it every day just about just to absorb it all. alison actually was the one designed the page too with a web designer. she's also the one who designed the cover of FM which i remember she went on to explain that she had found out a tidbit of a very female part unintentionally super-imposed within her curls....computer accident she says! hehe

^gius, the untitled piece is actually taken from the remix of Lovely Head (Stare Mesto Mix). It's indeed heavenly beautiful, it was also included in some of the pieces of the soundtrack for My Summer Of Love. Thanks so much for sending it, it's such a haunting, mysterious and seducing sound. I keep playing it on repeat in my Winamp

have you been keeping up with her twitter page? she uses it in a way that's very alison nothing like the other "twit"ters i've seen.

i heard,in fact on her page,they've been working on new material,of late. have they signed with a new label already? i really haven't heard anything regarding that since they and mute disbanded.

and they did a remix of gaga's judas. you know,the irony in this remix is that not only does it sound aeons better than anything gaga has ever done herself but also the fact that gaga's style has been so derived from goldfrapp. it's kind of hilarious. and i can only imagine alison being kind of attracted to that irony.
