, but i have to disagree with you guys... if anything, karen o. is a total "underground" fashion victim, i mean, who doesn't know at least 5 girls (or boys 
) who dress the same as her, and she certainly wasn't the first one drawing from new wave/punk influences... i think meg white and the girl from evanescence 
(don't know her name) are true individuals, they don't seem to be following trends or trying to "impress"... this is just my humble opinion

@ least the dorks were less this time everyone tried to play it safe though sjps look was a lil bit shady
from what i've seen so far...for starters...my favorite...
THE WHITE STRIPES: JACK WHITE, you darling, he totally looked rocking, and it was so his style with the hat...you know, he was just there to have fun caz he more or less couldn't care less bout the grammys. MEG WHITE, she's so beautiful, her hair was gorgeous...and only she could pull of a dress with marjuana on it!!!...the colors were perfect and the bust line was great!!!

alicia keys: gorgeous and sorta different, bit off tone but oh well.
amber tamblyn: wow, she looked hella good
justin timberlake: is obessed with pink
amy lee: great outfit for her.
ashanti: looked a bit bad seeing alicia looked the same
beyonce: had to be a versace number, the hair was syco...mixed bout this one.
queen latifah: twas great up top until i saw the bottom...big mistake.
Chrisrtina: first outfit, hell dodg...second, gorgeous for her.
FoW: these guys were like one of my favs!!!
Gwen Stefani: my hero, converting her niece to her style...all in good time hunny.
the duffs:can't be bothered with them, dunno why they're there.
JLH: this valentino (i think) was too short
John Mayer: looked cute in the pink tie.
Marg: been there, done that, made a movie.
N.E.R.D.: rockin.
SJP: reminded me of balenciaga for some obscure reason...but twas a but syco.

Overall, I thought the fashion was 
. Most of the men seemed to be in costume. Some of the women looked good, but off. Like Alicia Keys. Looked super until I realized she was wearing pedal pushers under that gown. 
And SJP? You're right. Heels too high and skirt too short. Oddly enough, I thought Christina's Betty Boop look worked. Except for the spare nipples.
