i just watched "queen christina", the film was amazing, and she and john gilbert made a great couple. and her voice.. such a pity you can't post it, but everyone should go watch the movies anyway. hm, honestly, i'm not too fond of the most gowns she wore in her films. (why did the costume designer become so famous?) but she looked very cool in "queen christina" (although i cannot quite see how you could take her for a man even in men's clothes. )

I do believe that the best way to 'get' Garbo is by watching her movies. I just love the way she acts.
I must admit I do a bit of 'censoring' with the photos, in that I don't post photos of outfits I don't like, so that's why there's not many photos of 'Camille' or 'Conquest' or other period films. I did like her look in Queen Christina, but my favorites are her silents (for costumes, anyway), so fantastically deco!!
