I feel blind to not see the brilliance other people are seeing in this collection. Sure this girl exist in the current streets but she shops in thrift stores, not gucci.

Every look, looks thrifted. The quintessential Gucci customer that they should be targetting have the money but dont have the eye to style their clothes as in this collection. They want easy to wear classics.

This isn’t the first interim Gucci collection to carry hints of Demna’s influence. that’s been a recurring theme, and those collections were generally well received. The only difference now is that this is the first one since his official appointment was announced.

We haven’t actually seen anything designed by him yet, the discussion about Demna’s style and interpretation in this thread feels premature
