Gucci F/W 05.06 Milan

i definitely see a mix of the past tom ford-gucci collections in there, especially f/w 03...it is an improvement over s/s 05, but i feel like she's going backwards here.

I'm deffinetly not a fan of gucci, wiht tom , or this new girl:sick: The second picture, the coat, is almsot nice though. It's really tacky and otudated though, I mean honestly a huge company like gucci should be more up to the minut, even if they are not 'edgy', at least they could be 'on point'.

somebody get Gucci a new design team please, quick quick quick
I agree. It's not fresh at all. Totally dated and totally bad. How are women supposed to wear this six months from now when it already looks like yesterday's news?

It doesn't create that spark for me, I think it's too Gucci of the 90s.

dont forget that the current designer was Tom's right hand.. hence, nothing new...

honestly i think this is a dangerously 'safe' collection for Gucci, its terribly repetitive really... i had a look at their spring summer 05 up close, oh the boredom zzzzzzzzz, the only good thing was a bright green leather belt.

I like this collection, and I definitely think it's better than the 1st season under Ms. Facchinetti. I think it does look very Tom Ford-ish, but I wont hold that against her; after all, it's only her 2nd season so far. It'll be interesting to see how she'll develop her vision for Gucci in the coming seasons.

ohhhhh i dunno - its just the same old isn't it.....

I really find the tight satin trousers quite hideous. Imagine them on a normal body......

great! just great!!! the boots are definitely on my list for coming fall.....

Oddly enough, I kind of like it. Not all of it, but there are a bunch of pieces I do like. Hardly anything new, but nice to look at.

what in the hell is that purple fluffy thing they threw on Gemma?

some of the coats are amazing, except that awful one gemma is wearing.

Helena- so true!!!

don't like the peasantyness of the dresses.

I actually like a lot of it. It's so much better than last season.
Yeah, it's very Tom Ford-ish but I happen to like Tom.

Terrible, and totally irrelevant for the season with all the new things that are happening at other houses - by next season there will be very little interest in Gucci, there is just nothing new happening it just looks so very TIRED

i concurr. i'm a fan of a lot of it. i hope the designer comes into her own over the next few seasons though. tom ford recreated gucci for the 90s she should do that same for the new millenium

True. As much as I like the Tom Fordness of it all she should move on and make Gucci exciting again in her own way. Not by copying Tom.

After staring at it for a few minutes, I've decided I don't quite like it.. it's redundant as many people said, and nothing seems quite original.. and with that, I only like a small selection of pieces.

I only like the low belted black coat. Everything else looks too familiar: sheeny, bondagey (is that a word?) and tight.

I loved the look when it was done before though.
