My precious people, yesterday I was extremely exhausted from work, so I gave my opinion based only on a glanced IG photo preview we have here. Today, however, I woke up well-slept - despite the surreal thunderstorm we've had here - so, fresh-eyed, I went to Sabato De Sarno's IG profile, downloaded the photo, put it through several PS tools, and here's the result/conclusion I came to...
Do any of you remember the "
PHOTOGRAPHIE RETOUCHÉE" era? (Namely, in March of 2015 France introduced Article L. 2133-2.251 - the regulation which is part of the French Code of Public Health, and mandates that advertisements using models whose faces/bodies have been digitally altered must bear the notation "photographie retouchée," or "retouched photography".)
Well, you see, in this "controversial" photo - in a sense of whether this is just a test shot or the final result - in the
upper left corner we have exactly that mark; in other words, this should be the final product indeed.
Which, then, inevitably leads us to the question:
*WHAT* the original photo even looks like, and whether the goal of this and such digital post-production was to make Daria more beautiful/attractive/alluring (because here, for God's sake, we are watching an advertisement for
HIGH JEWELRY (read:
opulence/luxury/glamour), and not some kind, as I said in my previous post - God forbid! - hospice facility), or an uglier/older/more relatable?
However, as always, only time will tell...
