Meche Correa
Meche Correa, artist and designer with over 15 years of experience and appointed by the Peruvian government "Ambassador of the country brand", arrives at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid presenting a sample of "The flowers of my land," a work inspired the embroidery of Ayacucho which won an honorable mention in the Iberoamerican Biennial Madrid designers this year.

This new version shows a small sample of fabrics on alpaca, enhancing the presence of the poncho in a modern context, and then continue with pieces full of color embroidered flowers typical of the area of Huancayo, used to decorate both women's skirts as pants, jackets and even shoes for men. Pieces that are used exclusively in regional holidays.

Robes with gold embroidery on black, multicolored skirts with neoprene tops ripped applause from the audience, tricolor knitted dresses, two pieces of crochet, knit straight dresses three dimensional, and printed or embroidered decorative floral ladylike dresses and skirts, tights and colorful shorts that got a taste of the traditional can be outrageously groundbreaking. And all, adorned with tribal jewelry, tote bags with energy colors and floral headdresses.

Jessica Butrich
Impossible Love is the name of Jessica Butrich's collection in MBFWM inspired by a love story between a penguin and Flemish, two characters who are on opposite sides of the world, where the climate and living conditions prevent to achieve join despite their attempts, leading all in a tragic end.

To represent this impossible relationship, the designer displays a video of drawings illustrating sadly but with a cheerful graphics this duality of heat and cold that separates the collection opposites that make the designs are directed at different temperatures, graphics, colors and textures in retro-inspired eclectic designs but with a modernist and a tropical look, generating a mixture "kitsch" as she defines it.

Black and white looks on one side, and other pastel colors like green, coral or blue on the other, facing the penguin and Flemish on the catwalk in cropped jerseys or knit tops, slacks, jackets, straws with flyers, printed shirts knotted, light bodysuits, fruit prints dresses or skirts with details of bows or piped skirts with paillettes.

The graphic elements and symbols play an important role (fruits, hearts or tiny triangles that form Op Art prints) in the parade that has complete looks-clothes, shoes and accessories-that teach women to have fun with fashion and learn to have fun with your own personal style.

Sitka Semsch
Sitka Semsch-with over 15 years of experience in the fashion world, from pret-a-porter clothes to brides and accessories, presented a collection inspired by the traditional costumes of Peru fusing both traditional and contemporary in which raw colors with mixtures of tones snuff, black, green and pink are the protagonists.

Lace tops, shorts and striped skirts, embroidered flowers in skirts and dresses, shirts unstructured or exaggerated volumes, palazzo pants, openwork dresses, capri pants, skirts and vests with prints paisley type, shirt dresses, cardigans or jackets with modern silhouettes biker type shown as their ancient culture is introduced in a subtle way-fabric belts with snaps are a clear example-but still take advantage of textures and colors with a cosmopolitan approach .

A collection which she defines as "a contemporary, sophisticated and natural" that highlights the beauty of women connecting with their own.

They did a peruvian fashion show here a couple of weeks ago as well.

I couldnt go because I got invited the DAY BEFORE (thanks to an "#$#%$#$ who hates my guts and managed the press).

I am surprised to see so little knitwear (with the peruvian tradition of llama and alpaca)

i love all of these collection  They're even more interesting than most of the big names in NYFW.

My country is precious and I love the way they represented it: with beautiful pieces

This is surprisingly gorgeous! What is usually presented in Lima Fashion Week is actually very uninnovative and dull, last season SO many collections were almost copied (excuse me, inspired by) other established brands: Lanvin, Maison Martin Margiela, Elie Saab, Kenneth Cole, etc.

This is much different, I'm in love with the shapes, and the way the fabrics seem to effortlessly drape on the model's bodies. Very well designed.

Sitka Semsch collection was my favorite, delicate, fresh, and absolutely romantic. Absolutely loving the skirts with that long scarf-belt.
