what is special about them?

I am not trying to be rude- but To me they look like ordinary men's shoes. Perhaps with a distressed finish

are they really amazing quality? Or extremely comfortable?

I guess the point with this kind of stuff is whether you like it rather than it is special or not.
I like S/S 05 (the bottom two pairs in #6) especially. it was different from just "distressed".
this kind is not so photogenic.
but if you expect something like lattanzi, maybe it is not so special.
you might be disappointed about the "amazing quality and extreme comfort".
you'd rather try, say, Alden. it's very good in terms of price, quality and comfort.
if the last really fits you.

it is special as tannery.
the whity leather for example is not just painted white on the surface.
the section shows it is blanched in total.

it looks good and more reasonable in price than guidi.
