I've noticed that there are several people in this thread from Asian countries, and I'm just curious, what "type" of models are more popular over there? The doll-faces (Gemma, Natalia, etc...) or classic beauties like Hana? :)

Why does she have a totally different nose the pictures? Is that done digitally or what?

^^ It's from the Vogue Italia Makeover issue :flower:..the ed spoofing plastic surgery.

I adore those pics of her and Eugenia

Only the stupid thing is... she looks just as gorgeous before as she does after...;)

Nobody had a nose job for the photos in that editorial... It's all done in the computer, somewhat cleverly mocking the culture of plastic surgery and makeovers. In those "Before" and "After" shots, they reshape the girls' faces and noses to a kind of generic ideal, and in a lot of the "After" shots, they photoshop and retouch the girls to an almost absurd degree, to kind of hit you over the head with the fact that the beauty you are normally seeing in these editorials can be so fake. You could interpret the point as being that a lot of what makes these girls so beautiful is the small quirks and differences in their faces, and when you retouch and retouch and retouch you are losing the best part of their beauty. I mean, it's not really so deep, and Steven Meisel and the others who did this story are all big players in this business, but it's still a great editorial.

Hana's nose is neither of them! Look at the pictures Roppal222 posted above. Both noses are exaggerated (one too bumpy, the other too flat) and neither are Hana's real nose :)
