If Eva Herzigová and Karolina Kurková are queens in the fashion world, Hana Soukupová is turning into a shining princess – increasingly every day. Would you tell it about her? (YES!!! – my comment

A reception clerk of Prague hotel Sieber softens, when he finds out that we are going to have an interview with a such precious guest.
But when 19 years old model Hana Soukupová come with her Czech agent and her mom, many a person would overlook her - although she is 181cm high. Slim girl without make-up with long light brown hair has career (in the past and in the future), which milions of girls, all around the world, dream about.
She shot a catalogue for luxurious American department store Bloomingdales in Prague and at Slapy (=a huge lake) in August. From the Czech republic she is flying to Japan and then back home immediately. Then she will work in Bacelona, Milano and New York. „And after that I will have vacation – I hope,“ says Hana quietly. „I want to take my grandmom to Morroco – it is said to be nice.“
She doesn’t count hours which she spent in a plane. („My mom would know it. – She cares about it
“) She doesn’t count how many pieces of clothes of famous fashion houses like Nina Ricci, Christian Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Versace or Dolce&Gabbana, she worn.
„No, I like to putt off the clothes and make-up after fashion show. I immediately tear the mask off and unstick artificial eyelashes. I’m a professional. I don’t mind display(wear) model which I don’t like – she add with an apologetical smile.
Hana is wearing a black t-shirt and jeans and she doesn’t look like a fashion victim.

German editor‘s office of fashion magazine Vogue has choosen Hana for the cover of their 25 years anniversary issue.
Success (rising career) of this girl is unstoppable. Hana Soukupová is not unknow, although her career started extreemly rise till 2004. – Written German magazine. „This photo session was very fast, it lasted only four hours,“ says Hana. „There is always ten people around you – make-up artist, hairstylist, stylist, assistents, photographer.... The longest shooting was for W magazine – whole two days.
Photographer Steven Klein is known that shooting lasts him very long. „We started at 7 a.m. and finished about midnight. Not even one picture was originated. Next day we started again at 7a.m. and finished at 2 a.m. But it was finaly done.“
Her dream came true. When together with Karolina Kurkova or Brazil Gisele Bündchen - get into Mekka of fashion world – cover of American Vogue. Where actresses and singers are shoted mostly. „People in agency didn’t tell it to me,“ she smiles. „I though that I would shot only some story.“ „And then I though to myself – It is not possible! I was so happy.“
Her career started to rise last year – with her Gucci campaign. When Gucci announced that Hana will be their „face“, fans of Gucci all around the world started to discuss (on internet) her qualities or how her name is pronounced. „I think she is very pretty, but she is too ordinary for Gucci.“ – one of fans opinions. Her face wasn’t exotic enough for the others – or too boring...
On the other hand creative directors of fashion houses like Carolina Herrera, Versace, Max Mara, Dior or Bulgari don’t agree with them. All these directors chose her for their campaigns.

„Tower to A8! Queen to B6!“ sounds from reproductors. Instead od fashion runway there is a chessboard and models are moving according to strict instructions. It is a fashion show of famous British fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Hana Soukupová is a queen. But she is not much happy about that, although she likes „theatre“ fashion show better than walking the runway.
Extravagant fashion designer puts her high wooden platformed shoes on. During a fitting she wrenched her ankle. „These shoes was terribly heavy and stripes incised into my skin. But I didn’t fall fortunalety!“

At latest Galliano fashion show three gilrs fell – including Hana. She doesn’t like model long dress made of subtle materials. „I refuse to model transparent materials – a model can deside if she wants wear them or not. I don’t want to go with a naked chest.“
She likes world fashion weeks, but only their first days – on the last days she is very tired...

„In backstage we kid aroung, play tricks...“ I don’t have a friend in modeling, but I chat a lot with Eugenia Volodina. Naomi Campbell is kind to models, she is not agressive,“ describes Hana.
She doesn’t remember that during her modeling career somebody would treat her bad. „Only when hairstylist creates complicated hairstyle and some hair stick out, he doesn’t sleek them but snatch them out. It hurts.“
Alone in Mexico
During shoting they teart to models nicely. They give some food to us or blanket. Sometimes we have massage.
Evenings in hotels are not sad for her. „I’m happy that I can sleep for a while.“ When she is homesick, she take a plane to Karlovy Vary to visit her family. „If I‘m homesick I go home even for four days. It worth it.“ But Hana is not affraid to fly alone to Mexico – „I told it to nobody and I travelled by taxi and visited a monuments,“ talk about her five days trip to Mexico.

sorry won beauty contest „Topmodel of new millenium“ – she didn’t occur that one day she will meet Gisele Bündchen.
„Me and Lenka Jochova flow by plane to Costarica – it is told to be place where nobody goes for vacations. In hotel I met Gisele. And she told me: „What are you doing here?“ and me: „And what about you?“ She is very nice girl.
Hana likes taking photos, going to galleries, travelling and cooking in her free time.
You cannot ask model after meal. „How often you eat „vepřo-knedlo-zelo“?, asks reproter.
„My grandmom cooked it for me just a while before an interview,“ answer Hana. „I like
