Harper’s Bazaar Australia November 2017 : Miranda Kerr by Nino Munoz

so simple yet chic! It gives me a vague HB US under Tilberis vibe? I was beginning to think this year would break the yearly cover tradition for Miranda Kerr, she is to Aussie Harper's Bazaar what Kate Moss is to British Vogue.

This is also the second cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia this year to feature a dog on the cover. Come to think of it, didn't her Vogue Italia cover also have her other dog on it?

I saw that Helena Christensen has an interview and editorial in this issue - if anyone can post it, would be super appreciated!

Looks more like a celebrity cover, very safe, but then again Miranda hardly ever did model solid covers. Her appeal is more like that of a celebrity anyway.

I agree but in fact this does absolutely nothing for me.

Can only echo the same sentiments that this does absolutely nothing for me either. I've always been an advocate for Harper's Bazaar Australia but this is beyond lackluster. They've produced far better covers with Miranda in the past! Also think they've just chucked the dog on set to deter from the fact that the team failed to bring their A-game.

I didn't think she was still that relevant, I'm more interested in the cute dog to be honest

the issue is quite solid, although the Miranda interview was in no way dissimilar from all her other interviews, very on-brand, little real insight beyond what readers already know. It's such a contrast because Helena's interview felt much more candid and organic. In fact, considering it was a full shoot and feature, i'm surprised they didn't turn it into a cover? Obviously Miranda has more reach and appeal to the general public in Australia, but i'm surprised they didn't shuffle a few things around and give Helena a cover for a different month. I know a few people are interested in scans of Helena's shoot and story but unfortunately i've been unable to make scans unless i just did low quality photos.

Thank you for the insight. Hopefully, some editions reprint it as a cover. I was surprised that they didn't make at least subscribers cover but she never was pushy about covers, so I guess that's one of the reasons too.

stunning! Almost any of those Helena pics are better than the cover ... but maybe I am just biased. :)

Thanks for posting your snaps

I actually like Miranda's cover... it's simple but sweet... but would have been nice to have one with Helena too...

Her legs deserve some sort of recognition... a statue maybe?;)

okay, it all makes sense now. Looks like Helena's feature is from HB Spain and this is just a reprint. I remember her putting something about doing a shoot for HB Spain.

Considering that the both features are from NOVEMBER issues, it's hard to say which one is the original and which one is reprint.
