Alexa seems like such a random choice. I mean, shes not even that big here in Australia- But at first glance. I dislike the cover, (Im trying to put aside my general dislike for Alexa as a media personality) but everything just seems off. The lipstick...the grass...it looks feral.

Beautiful! This projects her better than her UK Vogue covers! It's so gorgeous, relaxed and stunning. I really love how Harper's Bazaar Australia is stepping it up from reprints to gorgeous original photos like this!

To answer everyone who's wondering why she's on the cover - Alexa is the face of 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty which runs through September and is supported by a vast number of magazines and designers in Australia.
It's a big event here.
We're also pretty familiar with Alexa in Oz so it's not that surprising to me that she's been chosen and featured. But perhaps it's through print media more than anything.
