Harper's Bazaar España July/August 2024 : Eva Herzigova by Xavi Gordo

España? Not French? So what's up with those colours?
I guess it's Olympic related, but Eva is not French.

It's Olympic Games related: Paris city of love, couture and olympic games.
I like the 3rd cover but everything seems off...

they just needed to execute well the Paris/olympics tribute....

Lack of budget can't be never the reason to not deliver...

I prefer the 2nd cover

Gosh... at the very least either pick a french model or do a shoot in Paris or produce something Olympic Games related !!! Don't do a black and white UNRELATED photoshoot, with the french flash used in the masthead and some coverlines about the Olympic Games ''just goz''. It's a bunch of nothing once again. Xavier Gordo is extremely boring and repetitive.

Honestly, they failed miserably. They should have just checked what Thomas Lagrange did with Anna Schilling for Vogue Paris in 2008 as a starting point and it would have been much better.

I love the second but the others look odd on the face.

I love Herzigova . One of the most typecast models that knew how to come out .

You could never make me dislike anything French or Paris-themed, but throw in Eva Herzigova and it feels like a total triumph. I don't even mind the cliche art direction, it works and there's a sense of effort which I can appreciate. Plus, there's a fashion element to it... which is a sight for sore eyes after all these sports-related covers.
