Harper's Bazaar - Worldwide

Kate Bosworth would've been better off as a model, she's just so photogenic. Her career as an actress is basically non existing.

I don't know why, but I adore Chloe's cover. She looks great in Gucci.

I'm all for these covers, although I was about to describe the second ones as 'Twin Peaks crossed with an Opium ad', before I remembered David Lynch actually has directed a commercial for the perfume.

That's the November 2017 cover actually. Here is the December 2017 cover, plus the cover story.

I hoped Peyton Knight would become Gucci's key model muse since was one of those girls who helped establish Michele's aesthetic. But it seems she disappeared into oblivion.

The last few posts clearly illustrates what where some of the really good models are right now. Two Swedes for HB Turkey (what's the connect here?), Tao for a non Asian fashion magazine (major props!), and Peyton for HB Chile.
All the shoots look spectacular. Particularly like Julia's red cover, Tao's last editorial shot, Peyton's entire spread.

thank god these smaller international Harper's Bazaar editions exist to give genuinely talented models shoots and covers, because the bigger editions are full up with the nepotism squad and the usual bland entertainers. Readers in places like Chile and Kazakhstan are lucky in that they get a constant stream of actual models on the cover - these issues are all so collectable.

Let's all say a prayer for the Harper's Bazaar editions who now insist on placing the part of the masthead which specifies their country vertically against the 'B' in Harper's Bazaar. It started with Australia, but has spread to Turkey, India and now Arabia.

Exhibit A:

Harper's Bazaar Arabia January 2018: Emily Ratajkowski (reprint from Aussie HB August 2017)

I really hate the Vertical country names! And how random to see Diana Agron?! Even for a third rate edition.
