Reed seems like a really nice person, but as a collection this is quite derivative of Alexander McQueen with hints of Gucci by Alessandro Michele.
Besides that, the finish of these pieces looks incredibly amateurish and cheap. The tailoring in that opening look is an abomination, as is the finish on those gowns. You can tell his vision is on a grander scale than his skill or the skill of the seamstresses who made these pieces, with all due respect.
It just goes to show that taking time to make sure everything is executed to perfection, even if it does take years, is imperative, especially at a debut showing at London fashion week. Alexander McQueen worked for four years on Saville Row for example, building up his tailoring ability and it really showed in his collections.
