That Schiaparelli draped taffeta dress is Just vile both on the runway and on her. If something looks terrible on Mariacarla Boscono how the hell do you think it's Gonna look decent on an average sized woman. Ugh, wasted money

I actually liked it on Mariacarla ahaha, but maybe because I like almost everything she wears on the catwalk

Choices and taste aside, what I find really jarring is how cheap everything Tilly is wearing looks when compared to the runway versions. It's not even about the proportions. The finishing, draping, and fabrics just seem to come from a different atelier; it's as if she came to the local tailor with a bunch of Vogue runway pictures and asked to recreate the garments.

I love how when there are group photos in this thread, I always look at the person with the body/face least fit for Haute Couture and think "please let it not be that person, please...", and it always ends up being THAT person.

The vast majority except the modelesque appearances or very pushed back/minimalist royalty look absolutely ridiculous.

A sweetheart bust line can really make or break a dress. I will die on this hill saying this because here it’s really made it look so naff. Very rarely have I ever liked a sweetheart bust line.

I like the premise of the fraying, but more of it all over should have been done to make it more intentional and give visual lightness. Dress would have benefitted from added featheriness with the frays.
