Versace doesn't present haute couture collections anymore...I'm so bummed!

why? So much of it was crap. If you don't have the time to put into it, don't show.

.... and MONEY.

This Haute couture week falls right inbetween Milan and Paris mens week, which is unusual, as it normally happens after.

it could make it good for a number of reasons

- more casting time for paris mens shows = a better chance of seing the new faces doing big shows

-more girl and guy model parties = more gorgeous babies

-greater celeb count

I think Donatella's haute couture is always beautiful... these dresses talk to me  they say wear me... wear me... wear me... hehe mwa

Yeah your right

This also mean that the RTW week in Paris is very soon after the couture week.

From www.modeaparis.com:

From February 28th
to March 7th, 2004
Fall-Winter 2005-2006

That's only a difference of a month, which will mean lots of pressure for the couture houses that also present RTW perhaps...

Not the first time. The spring HC shows have been held the last week of January in '93, '92, '91 and '85. Maybe more but those I know for a fact.

 i still dont understand why versace arent showing... will they include the haute couture in next show... or not at all??

I actually thought some of it was good. Just depends on taste. :)

Versace is in serious financial turmoil, and they're cutting lines and runway shows.

exactly as Alex said........
basically nobody buys versace anymore

whats the point in them spending millions on creating a collection and showing it when nobody buys any of it?
even their main lines dont sell like they used to......because theyre just not realistic or tastefull

Mabye versace does need a change of guard... it used to be really hot... hope they fix it all soon
