Well to be fair, she's only 17 or something and most girls at high school are like that. Being a model really doesn't make you any different, if not worse cos they party even more than high school kids. I do get what you saying though, models appear so sophisticated and glamourous on covers and runways etc so when you actually realise they are normal people, they lose their appeal to some extent.

Good points, laughingdisorder. There was a great article in the SI Swimsuit Issue a couple of years ago where the writer went with the girls to some island for the photoshoot; he was shocked by how "high school" and giggly they were after hours: rock bands and boys and so on, just like in the lunch room!!

True, but I'm only sixteen and I'd still kill for a job that allowed me to travel the world, walk international runways, and work with some of the most interesting people in the industry. It's totally understandable that she misses her friends and her home, but i guess she just comes off as unappreciative and bratty sometimes. Could just be my interpretation though...
