Heels for Men

Although I possibly shouldnt ask this, are they all ankle boots that you have?

Yes all ankle boots with varying heel heights. I have three pairs, all with a thick chunky heel and the highest ones I have are just over three inches.

Guys, thank you so much, that inspires me into making a credit card dress and wear it

LOL. I remember years ago when the costume designer for Priscilla Queen of the Dessert wore some credit card dress to the Academy Awards. Classic.

Flat shoes are hideously uncomfortable.

There was a lovely Jean Claude Jitrois ad with a man in a leather suit, and high heels sitting on a bed.

I believe it is still on their website.

2 inch minimum. And for girls 4 inch.

The most I have seen guys wear heels is when they wear cowboy boots. Cowboy boots, even the older styles do have a heel of about 2 inches. Maybe you could look into those... There are also websites where you can have cowboy boots custom made, right down to the height of the heel. That way, you wouldn't have to deal with trouble finding heels that fit in the women's department since many women's shoes are very narrow. I myself have wide feet, and wear stingray cowboy boots. They give me enough of a lift to be comfortable, and feel much better than my BCBG flat heeled (barely any heel) boots.

I thought we were just talking about men wearing women's high heel shoes, stilettos or whatever. But if we're talking about cowboy boots and ankle boots, there's nothing abnormal about that at all. What men's dress shoe doesn't have a heel?

Because men's shoes are designed for the male foot shape.

last year this guy at my school wore 4' pumps and i couldnt believe my eyes

my friend kept saying 'sean look at eric's shoes' and i thought they were just bad taste or something.......but when i looked......OH MY f*cking GOD! i had to look about 4 times before i actually believed it

i still cant come to terms with it......get me therapy!

Thats called sheer courage in the face of overwhelming odds! Or maybe it was a bet or dare?

feet come in all shapes and sizes, there's no standard male and female foot.

Does anyone really have any concern about guys wearing heels?

Can't see what all the fuss is about. If a guy has the nerve to give it a go then who are we to criticise what they want to wear.

It is a shame that society stereotypes what shoes people should wear.

i would give heel a go, but being over 6 foot it would attract too much attention.

BTW anyone in Perth with large feet prepared to let me try :D :o

Yes, but there's a general difference between the two.

We are criticizing because we were asked our opinions. You have yours; you don't see any problem with it. And that's great. But there's nothing wrong with others, myself included, thinking it's generally very strange. Just a matter of taste. :flower:

I think the variations within each group is bigger than the difference between the average of each group, therefore I do not agree.
